Horse happiness, treats and grooming 3 of Januarius, year 28
As most of you have seen, the horses have a happiness 'bar' that indicates how happy your horse is.
An unhappy horse will not perform too well in shows, so you would probably want your horses to be very happy.

Things that will make your horse happier:

1. Treats
Sugar => 1% happier, Cookies => 3%, Carrots => 5%, Apples => 7% and Grain => 10%
You can give your horse treats only once a month.

2. Feeding by stablehands
Since the stablehands are expert in feeding horses, the horses registered at the AVH Stable will be roughly 1% happier every game month.

The AVH Stable is also offering its expert services in treat preparations.
The offer comes with great discounts and you will actually pay less for these great services than you would pay if you bought the treats from the market.
For instance, you pay 1200 coins for one year of monthly carrot feeding.
If you bought carrots from the market every month, you would have to pay 2400 coins in total.

3. Grooming
You can schedule grooming for you horse in the AVH stable as well.
Basic Grooming => 3% happier, advanced grooming => 6%, expert grooming => 10%,
Registering your account 13th of Iulius, year 27
You will need to activate your account, if you have not done it yet.
This is to prevent random creation of accounts in AVH, so if your email is something like dshjdshdsjk@dskdjskj.com, you should change it to something valid and register it.
There is a Hint in the Town Hall explaining how to do that.
If you are unable to do it, a moderator will help you.
Anyway, bottom line is that only the registered accounts will be able to log on.

Your benefit is that all your players will receive 2000 coins daily.
AVH's benefit is that there will be less fake accounts, and evil players will not manage to create backup accounts as easily.
Polls added. 5th of Iunius, year 27
You can now participate in the AVH polls. Polls can be created and you can vote on existing ones. (Make sure that suggested polls make sense, are not repeats of already accepted polls and that the choices for selection also make sense.)

To get to the polls click on the 'Polls' button just above the guildline.
Change to creating clubs. 14th of Aprilis, year 27
Players must be level 15 or above to be able to submit clubs for creation.

Note: Also when creating clubs, please check that you are not creating a club that is basically the same as something that has already been accepted. Duplicate clubs will likely be rejected.
Issue #4 of the newspaper 14th of Aprilis, year 27
The fourth issue of the newspaper has been released.

Guildline Update 3 of Augustus, year 26
The guildline has been improved, and should be working. The detach button has returned and there is the addition of the clickable smilies. Click the smilie in the lower right corner to bring up the smilie board. (You can also turn this back off by clicking it again.)

Improvements:
You can still talk on your regular guildline and also there is now a common chat line so you can chat with players on other guilds. You will be able to view both lines.

The Letters next to your name will indicate which line you are talking on.

[R] rider
[E] equilibrium
[M] manufacturer
[C] chat

To type on your regular guildline you will select the Guild radio button. To type on the chat line select the Chat radio button.

You can also send private messages. To do this you will select the Tell radio button and type the player's name.

Starving horses 18th of Martius, year 26
The horses that were starving in your stables were rescued and are now at the market waiting for new owners.
In order to avoid having your horses taken from you, they must be fed constantly.
If you cannot do that on a regular basis, you should register them at the AVH stable so that they will be fed by the stablehands.
Newly accepted crossbreeds. 7th of Novembris, year 25
The 'Gaited horses' crossed with the Appaloosa will now result in the Walkaloosa.
The following are the accepted gaited horses:
American Walking Pony
Dole Trotter
French Totter
Missouri Fox Trotter
Narragansett Pacer
Orlov Trotter
Paso Fino
Peruvian Paso
Russian Trotter
Single-Footing
Tennessee Walking Horse
New moderators added 2 of October, year 25
Tamia, Vivaldi, SallyMay and Jumperz Paradise became moderators.
The current moderators are:
Kathy, Mojo, SallyMay, Tamia, The Elvish Misfit, Terris, Vivaldi and Jumperz Paradise.
You can contact them if you have game related questions or have to report naughty players.
Creating clubs 24th of Iulius, year 25
Please do not create clubs simply because you can.
In order for your club to get accepted you must find at least 15 other players to support it.
Starting today clubs that do not get 15 votes in 7 game months will be automatically deleted. If you do not manage to get 15 people to support your club, then maybe the game does not need such a club.
New job added. 2 of Maius, year 25
Players now have the option of becoming Stablehands in addition to the vet job that already existed. The stablehands tend to the happiness of the horses by feeding them; more services will be added later.

Players must still be level 5 to apply for this job.

Note: You cannot work at both jobs: you will either apply as a stablehand or as a vet if you would like a job.
Auction place 21st of Januarius, year 25
An auction place has been opened inside the local market.
You can list your horses there and other players can bid on them.
The rules of the auction place are written inside the market and reading them will teach you how to use this new feature.
This should be useful for those who want to pick the buyer as well as for those who do not know the value of the horse they are selling.
Club contests 2 of December, year 24
The presidents of clubs can create contests, that the members of that club can enter.
The winner(s) of a contest will be chosen by the members.
Any member can join a contest, and also has one vote for each contest.
The president of the club will decide if a contest has 1, 2 or 3 prizes.
The value of the prizes will be extracted from the club's coins.
Have fun!
Club Shows 3 of Iulius, year 24
The presidents of the clubs can create some special shows, using the coins donated by the members of the club.

There are several things about these shows:
1. All horses are allowed to enter.
2. Tack, specialization, skills, level are not important. The winners are picked randomly.
3. The horses still need to have the shots done, be fed and be the regular age.
4. Although specialization does not count in getting the winners, the shows you enter are counted, so do not break your spec by entering the wrong shows.

On Find Shows, there is a new checkbox. If it is checked, it will show the special shows.
XP for vets 18th of Iunius, year 24
Vets will get 40xp for each horse they vet.
Partners playing games 18th of Iunius, year 24
The game area is now available for partners.
This might prove useful when your friend's account has no coins and you need to feed or show horses. You can play some games and earn coins to feed them.
Clubs elections 13th of Iunius, year 24
On the first day of each month (real month) there will be elections and a new president will be elected, based on the members' votes.
The first elections will be on June 1st, so make sure you voted for your favourite candidate.
Horse history added 3 of Aprilis, year 24
Starting today, various events in a horse's life will be recorded.
On View History you will see when that horse was born, sold, transferred or retired.
The breeding date and the date when a mare foals will be recorded too.

Note: The event recording starts now, so do not ask why your horse's birth date is not there.
Paying for club votes 23 of Januarius, year 24
I have been asked several times if it is ok to pay people to vote for your club or vote for you as a president.
The answer is yes. You can do it.
Explaining how the stable works 15th of Iulius, year 23
Click on THIS Link to see some explanations of the new stable layout. Some people could not see the feeding part, others could not see the stud area.
