These days there are elections for club presidents; these elections show me which are the inactive clubs and those clubs will be deleted.
Layouts site 24th of Januarius, year 37
F.loss and Jumpergrl have created a web page dedicated to AVH layouts.
The address of the page is http://www.geocities.com/freeavhlayouts
It is a great idea, so keep up the good work :)
Boulders on ranch 3 of Novembris, year 36
The boulders are not a glitch and will not be removed.
Before complaining about boulders, think that 3 weeks ago there were no ranches.
Nothing is perfect, and the boulders are randomly placed on the ranches, to make ranches more real and different at the same time.
I know it is frustrating not to be able to demolish them, but look at the bright side.. Boulders take only around 5% of the ranch space.

Ranch improvement 20th of Aprilis, year 36

2. Woodmills can be upgraded, so they will produce more wood. To do so, after you bought a woodmill, go to your Home and click on the desired woodmill.
You will see an Upgrade button.

3. The wood will no longer be collected automatically from the woodmills. You will have to go to your woodmills every game month and click the Collect button.

Ranches and land 20th of September, year 35
You can buy more land for your ranch.
The extra land is expensive, and the more you buy, the more expensive it gets so you should look at the prices first, because there are no refunds for unwanted land.
Referrals 18th of Augustus, year 35
The referrals were finally added to the game.
This means that if you bring a new player to the game, you receive 10000 coins when they join (and register their email).
You also get 50000 coins when their players become level 10.
This means that if you refer a good player, that creates 3 players and they all become level 10, you will earn 160000 coins in total.

To refer someone, you have to give them the following link:
www.avirtualhorse.com/login/signup?r=1

You must replace 1 with your player's #.
So if your # is 502, put 502 there.

Note: Creating accounts yourself, so you can get the referral coins will result in being banned from the game, so please do not cheat.
Second stable added 15th of Iulius, year 35
You can build a second stable on your ranch, allowing you to move horses from the main stable to the second one.
The price of the second stable is 25000 coins.

Note that there may be a few glitches in the beginning, so feel free to use the hunters' chamber to report them.
Building ranch and new buildings 19th of Aprilis, year 35
As you probably have noticed you are able to build your own ranch, and put the buildings wherever you like.
New buildings will be added soon, allowing you to customize the features of the game.

The first new building added is the Tack Room.
Once you buy a tack room, you can go there by clicking on the image in your ranch.
A tack room allows you to store some of the tack you do not want to accidentally sell.
You can store the tack there and withdraw it later, when you want to tack your horses.
Repairing tack changes 19th of Januarius, year 34
1. The repair skill can go up to 100%
It does not make sense to have that one higher than that.
2. If you are repairing tack that you have created, you are repairing to a better shape than the tack that was created by someone else.
3. You will no longer break tack while repairing. If the shape of the tack you are trying to repair is higher than your manufacturing skill, the game will just tell you that you cannot repair it.

This is the formula for repairing tack:

New_shape = Current_shape + (Repair_skill/100 * (Create_skill - Current_shape))/Tack_penalty

Tack_penalty = 1.5 if the tack was created by you and 2 if the tack was created by someone else.

Example:
Repair skill=100%
Create skill=100%
Tack shape=35%

If the tack was created by you the new shape will be:
35 + 100/100*(100-35)/1.5 = 78%
If the tack was not created by you then the new shape will be
35 + 100/100(100-35)/2 = 67%

New layout 14th of December, year 33
Your color schemes have been disabled so if you wish to switch back, you will need to enable them again.
You will see 2 new categories that you can set:
1. The Rows even color and Rows even background sets the colors for the even lines in a list. By default the even lines in a list (like players list) is of a different color than the odd lines.
2. The Row hover color and background color allows you to set the colors of a row when you move your mouse over it.
Requesting stud 4th of Maius, year 33
There are several reasons for not seeing the "Request stud" link on a stallion.

1. The stallion is not level 5
2. The stallion is not yet 3 years old or is retired.
3. The stallion is starving
4. The stallion does not have the vet checks (breeding check, the regular check and does not have the shots)
5. The stallion is 'currently busy', meaning that it will have to wait for several days.

Note that mules cannot breed.
More clubs removed 16th of September, year 32
Following clubs have been removed:

The Stallion Registry, Abaco Barb, American Saddlebred
AVH in other languages 18th of Iulius, year 32

Please contact me only if you're a native speaker of a different language than English, as I do not want AVH translated badly.
